WXCHALLENGE FORECAST COMPETITION
“WxChallenge” is North American’s collegiate weather forecasting competition. “WxChallenge” is open to all undergraduate, graduate and PhD students, as well as higher-education faculty, staff, and alumni. We forecast the maximum and minimum temperatures, precipitation, and maximum wind speeds for select U.S. cities. During the 2011-2012 season, I finished in the top 30% of approximately 1700 forecasters.
