High pressure remains in control most of this week. Its center moves offshore today drawing in a southwesterly flow and the return of warm humid weather. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop along a pre frontal trough and associated H5 shortwave Thursday. They should be isolated in coverage and focused inland. A weak cold front approaches Friday. The heat and humidity reaches an apex Friday. Another cold front approaches late Saturday with low pressure trying to develop along it. Keeping light rain in the forecast, for late Saturday into Sunday. Dry weather returns Monday.
