Heat and Humidity is creeping up

High pressure remains in control most of this week. Its center moves offshore today drawing in a southwesterly flow and the return of warm humid weather.  Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop along a pre frontal trough and associated H5 shortwave Thursday. They should be isolated in coverage and focused inland. A weak cold front approaches Friday.  The heat and humidity reaches an apex Friday. Another cold front approaches late Saturday with low pressure trying to develop along it. Keeping light rain in the forecast, for late Saturday into Sunday. Dry weather returns Monday.

This Afternoon: Mostly Sunny. Pleasant. Highs 80-85. Southwest winds 5-10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Humidity on the rise. Southwest wind 5 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly Sunny, warm and humid. Highs 85-90.

Thursday: Mix of sun and clouds, Hot and Muggy with a PM isolated thunderstorm, especially away from the coast. Highs 85-90.

Friday: Partly Sunny, hot and humid with scattered thunderstorms. Highs 85-90.

Saturday: A sunny start but clouds increase late with an isolated shower. highs 80-85.

Sunday: Partly sunny with scattered showers. Highs 80-85.

Monday: Partly sunny. Highs 80-85.
