Discussion: Mostly sunny and seasonable weather lasts through tomorrow with daytime highs in the mid 70’s and lows falling into the 50’s. Gradually becoming milder and more humid as we head into Sunday. Showers and isolated thunder will develop ahead of an approaching frontal system which will eventually push a cold front through – but that may not happen until late Monday. Periods of rain showers linger until around midday Monday before things gradually dry out. Sunshine and warmer weather arrives Tuesday through Thursday.
Technical
Upper level: A ridge crests over the region tomorrow. An elongated trough moves into the region Monday. As it departs the flow becomes zonal into the middle of next week before more ridging starts to build in by Thursday.
Surface: High pressure departs to the east tomorrow night ahead of an approaching frontal system Sunday. This frontal system will slowly works its way through before finally departing Monday evening. High pressure briefly builds in Tuesday before another weak cold front approaches Tuesday evening. High pressure returns through around Thursday next week.
