What you are looking at here is fresh off the 0z NAM model taken directly off the NOAA site for Wednesday night. This represents a significant shift to the east pretty late in the game and is definitely a colder, snowier solution for the big cities. If this track verifies, we could be looking at a significant storm for areas that have already gotten pounded with snow this winter, in addition, Baltimore and Washington D.C. would be in on the fun. Basically, the NAM predicts the 8-10″+ range from DC, to NYC. I am going to stick with my snow map from this weekend with the heaviest snows north and west of the big cities, until this trend to the east becomes more convincing. Until then…
