Chilly First week of June

Storms developed yesterday as a result of a cold pool aloft. Afterwards, people in the area were left with beautiful scenic skies from the setting sun and leftover rainfall.

A blocking pattern has set up in the North Atlantic, and it’s serving it’s best to keep our temperatures below normal for a significant part of the first week in June. As a result, low pressure off to the east of New England will keep clouds in the area and continue to provide enough moisture to keep rain in some part of our forecast for the next few days.
