This is a fantastic mid September spell of weather with sunny warm days and cool nights expected for a string of several days!

This is about as clear of a visible satellite image that you will find here in the north east. High Pressure, Dry air and abundant sunshine is the rule.
Discussion: High pressure is a dominant feature across much of the east coast today. It is projected to remain that way until the end of the work week. A disturbance associated with a shortwave trough could effect the weekend. It does not appear to be significant and will probably only enhance cloud coverage in the area for the weekend. High pressure returns again to start the week.
