Here’s a look at the week ahead:
Sunday: A cold front shifts east of the region while high pressure builds to the south. Sunny, breezy and cool weather will be in place for Sunday.
Monday: High pressure center moves off the North Carolina into the western Atlantic while a weak surface trough skirts across northern New England. Sunny, cool weather will give way to increasing late day clouds.
Monday night – Wednesday: A warm front will push and eventually lift through New England with high pressure anchored offshore to our southeast and low pressure moving from the central plains into Northern New England.
Thursday: Low pressure tracking through northern New England will drag a cold front through the region. Cooler more seasonable weather arrives by the end of the week.
Temperatures over the next week: ABOVE NORMAL
