Rain and fog today gives way to a pleasant ending to the first week of December. The overall pattern for the next couple weeks favors milder, above normal temperatures… so who’s complaining?
Discussion: An upper level cutoff low over the great lakes region will gradually get absorbed into the northern stream as it propagates east. Weak surface Low pressure in the mid atlantic states will move through new england today with a trailing cold front approaching our area this evening. High pressure gradually builds in behind the front by the end of this week.
Forecast:
Wednesday Afternoon: Light rain and fog. High 52
Wednesday Night: Rain ending and mild.
Thursday: Gradual clearing and breaks of sun. Becoming windy and turning cooler. High 48.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear with a breezy west wind. Low 38.
Friday: Sunny, high upper 40’s.
