The first weekend of December will prove to be a pleasant one as holiday festivities kick off in many areas across the country. As a result, this weekend will be a popular first opportunity of the season for many to visit the city and view the tree.

An area of low pressure over far eastern New England is escaping through the Canadian maritimes, while a cold front continues to drift farther offshore.
