Hottest weekend of the year… So far

Discussion: A cold front passage tonight will help drop the humidity. Very little temperature relief is expected though despite the Saturday feeling more comfortable in many places. Westerly downslope winds will keep even the shoreline areas hot with widespread 90’s expected. Sunshine and dry weather for Sunday with high pressure in place but near 90 once again. The humidity builds on Monday out ahead of an approaching cold front. Scattered showers and thunderstorms develop during the late afternoon and evening. Continued hot weather Tuesday with dew points receding behind a cold front that finally helps break the heat wave by Wednesday. Sunny and mid 80’s Thursday, with more showers on Friday upon the approach of another cold front.
