A round of thunderstorms with heavy rain is likely during the mid afternoon hours tomorrow. Warm and very humid temperatures give way to cooler and less humid weather by Sunday. Temperatures moderate again towards the middle of next week when another shower and thunderstorm threat returns Wednesday.

July 2016 Precipitation Summary
A month that was characterized by a markedly dry stretch during a period from July 5 to 25th only 0.20″ of rainfall was measured. A couple larger events, a 0.88″ rainfall on July 5th and a 1.01″ rainfall event on July 29th helped lessen this month’s deficit.

Warm weather lingers through Thursday with temperatures still nearing 90ºF. A westerly wind pattern here regionally will continue to drop our humidity and keep heat indices down.
